Welcome to Blue Moon Exotics. We are two orchid hobbyists located in Southwest Florida. Our goal is to provide quality, established orchid plants from seedling to specimen size to those enthusiasts who value the unique beauty of the species orchids. Because of our climate we specialize in warm to intermediate growing species, and we produce much of our own seed from quality clones, many of them awarded. Our initial offerings are primarily seedling to near blooming size plants. We expect to add to our list of available plants regularly, so if you don’t find something you’re looking for today please stop by another time. We started out intending to grow orchid species for a hobby.
We continue to collect award quality species plants for breeding purposes and use them to make seed pods that are sent to Troy Meyers for public sale after we get one or two flasks for ourselves.
We ended up with more plants than we can fit in our greenhouse so now we are selling off some of our plants to make room for the remainder
