| Blue Moon Exotics is a joint venture from Paul and Diane LeBlanc. We are collectors of rare and exotic tropical plants, primarily species Orchids, Ferns and Bromeliads. Being situated in the tropical paradise of SW Florida makes it easy for us to grow these as our hobby. Paul is a horticulturist working for a multi-national corporation where he has learned how to grow quality plants that can satisfy other professional growers. Diane is a School Psychologist with an eye for quality plants and a passion for species and their preservation. |
As a professional grower of quality plants Paul knows how important it is to start with quality parent plants and as such we try to buy flasks and breeding stock that has had or has the potential to win awards from the AOS judging system. All of our plants that are for sale are either divisions of our own plants or seedlings from flasks that we have purchased from sources all over the world. We try to never buy jungle collected plants but occasionaly that is what we get when buying in from new sources |
